Practical solution to the tension control of the elevator ropes
Adjustment possibility for the present overload control unit
Economic and extremely easy, comprehensible adjustment possibility
Selection of slots suitable for rope thickness and stiffness
The sensor must be attached to each rope as shown in the figure. Suitable for ropes 6-12 mm in diameter.
Elevator cabin is aligned to a position where the technician can reach both the cabin and counter – weight ropes on the cabin.
The sensor is attached to the Centa control unit, and ceroing procedure is performed before attaching the sensor to the ropes, and absolutely no other address is entered.
Values of all the ropes are written down one by one. All these values are added and the total value is divided by the number of ropes.
All the ropes over the cabin are adjusted according to this final value. Whilst applying this procedure, the measurement must be repeated retrospectively; as during the adjustment of one rope, value of the other could be changed.
Without changing the position of the cabin and the weight above, same procedure could be applied for the ropes above the counter – weight.
The tensions in the cabin and counter – weight can be different, what’s more important is that the sum of both side must be identical with other ropes.
Applied to the elevators with 1:2 suspension system including ropes that go to measurement fix points.
When the sum of the valuen of the cabin side and counter weight side are equalised, the adjusting is finished.
